Sin

In today’s usage, the term sin is often used when someone does something wrong.

But when the Bible speaks of sin, it is primarily an expression of what man is. He is and lives apart from God. Therefore, he is a sinner.
Man lives as if God does not exist at all. He also becomes guilty towards other people through words and deeds. The Bible calls these actions sins.
